Orkney 14YO, The Kilnsman’s Dram

Released as a cask strength, single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 14 years and matured in a first-fill European oak sherry Hogshead. Deep toffee in colour, this sherry bomb will not disappoint. This is a fantastic heather peated Scotch from a famous Orkney Distillery. Released as a cask strength, single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 14 years and matured in a first-fill European oak sherry Hogshead. Deep toffee in colour, this sherry bomb will not disappoint. Non-chill filtered and entirely natural in colour. Only 146 bottles were taken from this outstanding cask.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: All toffee and butterscotch with the most delicate hint of smoke meandering through.

Palate: A feast wrapped up inside of a sherry bomb, explosions of vanilla and caramel but with a beautiful peat smoke and gentle balanced warmth.

Finish: Cream with butterscotch opens up to light pepper and floral smoke leaving a sweet taste preparing you for your next sip. Outstanding!

Glen Ord 12YO Mey Selections

Fresh and fruity on the nose with hints of white grapes and aromatic spices followed by a breath of warm butterscotch. Beautifully formed and well rounded on the palate. This limited edition, highly collectible Mey Selections Rare Cask Release is one of a series launched to showcase the best of the Scottish Highlands and support the charity founded in 2005 by HRH, The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay. All Mey Selections produce originates from within 150 miles of the Castle of Mey and celebrates the history, quality and commitment of its makers, helping to support rural communities in the far north of Scotland.  One of only 689 bottles produced from a single cask. Cask type: Sherry butt. Non chill filtered and natural colour

Tasting Notes:

Fresh and fruity on the nose with hints of white grapes and aromatic spices followed by a breath of warm butterscotch.

Beautifully formed and well rounded on the palate, sweet notes of prunes and vanilla are enriched by suggestions of malted barley and linseed oil.

A whisper of light spice heralds a deliciously smooth and lingering finish.

Linkwood 14YO Paloma

What a fantastic and refined classic Speyside single malt whisky, that has been finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks. Released at cask strength and aged for 14 years. Only 331 bottles were taken from this outstanding cask. One of only 331 bottles from a single cask. Distilled: May 2008. Non chill filtered and natural colour

Tasting Notes

Nose: Butterscotch, vanilla, fruit and spice with fresh and floral notes,

Palate: Oily mouth feel with orange cake, spices and nice pepper.

Finish: Malt, leather, medium dry and fruit finish.
