Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland and the oldest surviving on the Isle of Islay. Remaining hand-crafted, Bowmore prides itself on its traditional techniques which honour past methods. Bowmore 27 Year Old Timeless Series
Matured for 15 years in sherry and bourbon casks, the whisky was then finished for 12 years in first-fill Oloroso butts, then bottled at a cask strength of 52.7% abv. With just 3,000 bottles produced, this is a legacy-worthy dram packed full of grilled orange peel, smoked seaweed, chestnut honey and coffee beans covered in dark chocolate.
