Dhavall Gandhi has once again produced an outstanding single malt as part of The Lakes Whiskymaker’s Reserve series. The fifth release has been matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez sherry and red wine casks before being bottled up at 52% ABV. Aromas of maraschino cherries, old leather, spiced apple and dark chocolate give way to notes of pecan pie, baking spices, coffee and a touch of orange peel. A brilliant English single malt that every whisky drinker should be trying.
