*UPCOMING RELEASE* FRENCH OAK EX-TAWNY TD0281

French Oak ex-Tawny TD0281

The classic Sullivans trifecta is brilliantly on display: citrus, licorice and brine. Perfectly paired with Tawny, and held together with the fine hold of French oak. Exciting and balanced.
-Heather Tillott, Distillery Manager.

Our French oak whiskies are coveted world-wide for their incredible flavour, character, and excellence. TD0281 spent 13 years and 2 months maturing in a 300 litre French oak cask, previously used to mature Tawny; yielding 420 bottles.

Tasting Notes

We’re in unmistakable Tawny territory – rich date, caramel and honey on pancakes are followed by gentle notes of frangipani and lamingtons. Chocolate bullets, berries and citrus continue from the palate to the finish; leading to a burst of sherbet, Turkish Delight, batch brew coffee and dark chocolate.
