Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction celebrates the unmistakable characteristics of first-fill American oak maturation, combined with the influence of hand-selected refill casks. Tamdhu matured in American oak has a wonderfully distinctive profile – it’s noticeably different from their European oak maturations. Over time, the combination of cask and spirit imparts vanilla and rich fruit flavours, along with a wonderfully natural amber colour.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Malty and creamy with vanilla, cinnamon, honey, apple crumble, cherries, citrus and delicate mint.
Palate: Mouth coating with a luscious richness, thick and fruity with soft oak, plum, gooseberry and chocolate limes.
Finish: Long with the sherry notes lingering into a fruity finish with dates and syrup sponge.
