A Scottish dram with a French soul. This exceptional bottling partners Bowmore with Château Lagrange, 3rd Grand Cru Classé in Saint Julien, Bordeaux. This is a special whisky resulting from a full maturation of more than 20 years in these famous French oak barrels and bottled at 48.4% abv. When paired with the classic coastal influence of the Bowmore Distillery, we have a dram with a deeply impressive harmony of flavours. The perfect whisky making alliance between Scotland and France!
Expect a sweet nose, with aromas of strawberry, manuka honey, and salty chocolate all arriving. Stewed orchard fruits develop on the palate, alongside sea salt, polished oak, and bitter Arabica coffee. The finish is warmly smoky and elegant, full of smooth chocolate and little bursts of fruit. A sensation.
