Matured in the finest American oak barrels and married in first-fill bourbon casks before bottling at 48.8% ABV, this Campbeltown single malt has spent a quarter of a century coming of age. Spicy aromatic fruits combine with sea spray and the signature Glen Scotia character of interwoven vanilla oak notes. A whisky worthy of its accolades.
The nose brings maritime notes akin to a bracing Atlantic breeze. The palate offers red apple, orange peel and vanilla syrup with a sweet caramel note, before a long lingering finish with spicy ground ginger.
