anCnoc 18 Year Old has spent its 18 year long life in a combination of Spanish oak ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels creating a dram bursting with the best of both casks – honeyed vanilla sweetness with rich, full bodied dried fruits and spice. Bottled in its natural form, the whisky is left at 46% abv and free from chill filtration or added colouring. The nose opens with chocolate orange, rich dried fruits, leather and warming spice. The palate showcases bold notes of caramel covered fruit loaf with candied citrus peel moving to a peppery warmth and finishing smooth and sweet.
