Gregor Hannah is fast becoming a well known name in whisky circles.
Being introduced to whisky at a young(ish) age by his father, a bagpiper, Gregor was brought up with a huge amount of respect for Single Malt Whisky.
“Life’s finest moments are best celebrated with quality whisky” was his dad’s mantra and it is one that’s hard to argue with.
Since starting in 2012, The Lady of the Glen has tended to improve with every release, now producing consistently good and great single cask whiskies.
His eye (and nose) for cask selection and finishing techniques mean that the quarterly releases from Lady of the Glen are now an anticipated feature of the whisky calendar.

A robust and complex distillate with nutty, malty, floral and fruity notes.
Matured for 9 years in a refill cask for vanilla and mellowness. Re-racked into a 1st fill Oloroso cask for intense dried fruit notes
A full bodied peaty distillate matured in a HHD for over 7 years.
Finished in a Xynisteria White and Dry wine Cask from a vineyard found at altitude in Cyprus.
This relatively young distillate from the much sought after distillery that was built on the sight of the closed Imperial distillery has been matured in a refill American oak barrel.
Finished for 6 months in a first fill Oloroso Sherry quarter cask.
Light and clean spirit with natural honeyed spice notes.
Matured in a first fill Bourbon barrel for enhance vanilla sweetness.
Pineapple, Lychee and Candied Orange
Traditional heavy spirit style from “The Beast of Dufftown”.
Finished in an ex-Oloroso Sherry hogshead to give a fruity balance.
Stewed Rhubarb, Oak and Spice, Cherry Brandy
Typically fruity and spicy single malt from Tomatin’s Highland distillery.
Fully matured in an American oak ex-bourbon hogshead.
Toasted Marshmallows, Walnuts and Candied Ginger
