Double Gold Dram from Darkness!
This 8-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Darkness has been matured initially in ex-bourbon barrels, before being finished in custom-made Oloroso sherry octave casks for at least three months. Smaller sherry casks allow for a vastly increased surface area to volume ratio compared to larger sherry butts, leading to a greater cask influence that provides more concentrated and vibrant sherry notes that we’ve come to love.
