Wolfburn Distillery is today announcing the release of the much-anticipated Kylver#7. Consisting of just 990 bottles in total, it has been crafted from six-year old lightly-peated spirit matured in Oloroso sherry casks. Inside the bottles the whisky is testament to Wolfburn’s obsession with quality: beautiful deep flavours are coupled with a wonderfully rich – and entirely natural – colour. The combination of lightly-peated (10ppm) spirit combined with sherry oak has given this whisky a truly marvellous depth of flavour.

Wolfburn’s Kylver collectors’ series takes its name from the iconic Kylver Stone. Unearthed in Sweden, it depicts the entire Viking runic alphabet – and each whisky in the series is named after a different letter. The seventh letter, Gebo, translates as “gift” – and indeed a bottle of this rather special single malt would certainly make a lovely gift!
