Founded in 1823 during the age of great achievement, Mortlach was the first legal distillery in Dufftown, located in the heart of Speyside. Mortlach has a unique distillation process, distilling the spirit 2.81 times. The resulting whisky, nicknamed “The Beast of Dufftown”, is renowned for its rich, robust, muscular character. In a region known for smooth and gentle whiskies, Mortlach really stands out from the crowd. This heavily sherried, decadently full bodied single malt is one of the hidden gems of Speyside.
