THREE SAZERAC CANADIAN WHISKIES AWARDED GOLD AND SILVER MEDALS AT THE 2019 SAN FRANCISCO WORLD SPIRITS COMPETITION
Montreal, Canada (May 22, 2019) – Judges awarded three of Sazerac’s Canadian whiskies with one Gold and two Silver medals at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC), labeling them as “exceptional spirits setting the standards” and outstanding spirits that show “refinement, finesse, and complexity.”
Gold Medal Winner:
- Caribou Crossing Single Barrel Canadian Whisky
Silver Medal Winners:
- Royal Canadian Small Batch Canadian Whisky
- High River Canadian Whisky
The 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition assessed the largest number of entries in its 19-year history, with nearly 3,000 spirits in the 2019 competition. Judging consisted of four days of highly controlled blind tastings, by experienced panels who determined whether to award a Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal.
