An incredible 1978 vintage Glenlivet, matured for 40 long years in refill sherry hogshead #9044401. Released as part of the Private Collection series from Gordon & MacPhail, presented in redesigned bottle and presentation case. Distilled 3rd August 1978 and bottled 9th October 2018, only 319 bottles filled at cask strength, 53.5% vol.
