 For such a small distillery, Springbank has a reputation like no other. 750,000 litres of whisky produced every year and a demand that just doesn’t quit. Luckily, they keep their stock on very good rotation and allow so many different influences form across the world. This particular example of 21YO single malt is 70% Ex-Rum Cask and 30% Ex-Bourbon Barrel – now, it’s not everyday that i get to try things like this, needless to say that it was beyond a welcome surprise.
