 What happens when you launch a product that blends Scottish single malts and English malt whisky together? Steel Bonnets. The Lakes Distillery is my most local whisky distillery – I’ve been a big fan of The One, even with its sweeter vibe but this has peaked my attention for a while. A NCF and Natural Colour whisky bottled at a higher strength with a flavour palate of rich butterscotch and toffee notes but back by decent spice notes with a hint of smoke running through it.
