Released as part of the Port Charlotte Cask Exploration series, this heavily peated Islay single malt Scotch whisky has been produced from 100% Scottish barley, peated to 40 ppm… Port Charlotte MRC: 01, a 2010 vintage, matured in first fill American whisky casks and second fill French wine casks. Vatted and aged for a further year in French oak casks from the Bordeaux left bank.
