Not anymore. Elements of Islay are owned by the same folks that own and operate, Port Askaig and that in itself is something truly spectacular. This Caol Ila is a cask strength vatting of some exceptionally well picked casks and it offers a beautiful flavour profile from the classic smoky and sweet all the way through to drying an spicy. A true little stunner for under £50 per bottle, what more could you want as a peat freak? Cheers!
