With about 120 whiskies listed so far, we are well on our way to making The Whisky Show Old & Rare 2018 our best show yet. In among the ranks are late 19th-century whiskies and early 1900s’ bottlings, as well as rare bottles that are rarely opened.
Some of the highlights include:
• Old Orkney Stromness single malt, bottled late 19th century – a museum-piece of a whisky, this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to try a slice of history
• Black Bowmore 1964 (2nd release) – the perfect balance of fruit, peat and power, this whisky deserves its legendary tag
• Ardbeg 18 Year Old Kraus Bros & Co Import 91.3 proof – one of the rarest independent bottlings in the world, rarely seen and even more rarely tasted
