Hello everybody! Mortlach is a whisky with such a reputation among lovers of a good, old school, Speyside single malt. This was indeed the only ever standard bottling that i was ever aware of before it’s modern re-launch, a few years ago. This sixteen year old was part of the brilliant, Flora and Fauna, a range, a part of Diageo’s range that show cased the smaller distilleries in their catalog as well as distilleries that were fundamental to the blending of, Johnnie Walker. Mortlach, Dailuaine, Benrinnes ,Teanich, Clynelish, the list is endless. Matured in sherry casks with chill filtration and additional colouring, small blemishes on what is a brilliant and now ever more difficult to find product. Enjoy!
