NEW RELEASES FROM LAPHROAIG
Laphroaig lands Loch-side!
Today we have two new releases from Laphroaig, the Islay distillery home to one of the most distinctive single malts in the world. With opinions ranging from “a symphony for the soul” to “like being punched in the face with pure, peaty, salty bliss”, Laphroaig is a divisive malt.
The new 25 year old expression marries the signature Islay peat with sweet vanilla notes from the American bourbon casks in which it was matured, while the 30 year old is matured twice in ex-Bourbon barrels, giving it a rounded character and exceptional smoothness.
