In celebration of Master Distiller, Richard Paterson’s five decades in the whisky industry, The Dalmore Quintessence combines two of his great passions: The Dalmore and exceptional red wine. Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred to five varieties of Californian wine casks for an unprecedented five years of finishing, this unique expression was deemed to have achieved perfection by Paterson earlier this year and was launched on 28th July with only 200 bottles available in the UK.
