A non-chill filtered bottling at 41.1%.
The rich, ruby whisky distinguishes this as a classic Macallan, and it is the interaction of spirit and wood which delivers this vibrant colour. It has been crafted only from sherry seasoned Spanish oak casks, which are amongst the most precious and scarce in single malt whisky. The intensity of Rare Cask’s character was developed by The Macallan’s Master Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgemo.

This is the first release of the series from William Grant & Sons, and this particular expression is unrepeatable making it extremely rare.
