It’s not about a winning dram, it’s about taste and packaging, sharing drams and chatting on the merits of packaging – does it influence your purchases? Ian will take us through various whisky packaging types, compare and evaluate the packaging world, sharing 5 drams as we go!

A former Marketing Director of one of Scotland’s best-loved single malts, Ian began work in the Scotch whisky industry in 1987. He was elected a Keeper of the Quaich in 1991 and is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Distillers.  He is a member of the international tasting panel for Whisky Magazine’s ‘World Whisky Awards’ annual awards and Conference Director of the World Whiskies Conference, which he created. An author of many books – Ian will keep you amused and entertained this evening.
