Glenlochy Distillery obtained its water from the slopes of Scotland’s highest mountain. The only official release of Glenlochy single malt whisky was in Diageo’s Rare Malts range. Closed in 1983 and dismantled in 1986 however a number of Glenlochy Distillery buildings are still standing having been converted to private accommodation.
