Happy New Year from Mulberry Bank Auctions!

There are exciting changes afoot in the Whisky Auction!  In March we will be launching our new Timed Online Auction.  In addition we are happy to announce that our Commission Rates in our Whisky Auctions will be reduced to 10% for both buyers & vendors… making Mulberry Bank the only traditional auction house to offer the same commission rates as online auctions. The difference is that you now have two platforms on which to sell your bottles which attract different clientele. So you pay less for the largest exposure and achieve the best prices.

Our traditional Whisky auction will still take place on Tuesday (next auction 3^rd March) but will then be followed on the Thursday (5^th March) by our Timed Auction which will run for 1 week – finishing on the following Thursday(12^th March). 

Timed Auction – This auction will consist of bottles exclusive to this auction alongside unsold bottles from previous traditional auctions. The auction will begin at 12 Noon on Thursday and finish at 7pm the following Thursday.  Unlike other timed online auctions we will not require a payment for bidder registration.

So if you have any whiskies that you would like to enter into our auction give us a call/ e-mail/ pop in for a valuation.

I will also be out and about on valuation days over the next few weeks in Ayr; Dunbar; Aberdeen & Fort William.  So, if you are in these areas and want whisky valued/ entered into our sale call us for details of these valuation days or watch local press for details.

Please note that the last day for entries into our next auction is Friday 20^th February.
