Arran Orkney Bere Barley, cask strength edition, is a unique collaboration between Isle of Arran Distillers Ltd and the Agronomy Institute of Orkney College. Distilled in 2004 exclusively from Bere, Scotland’s oldest cultivated barley, which was specially grown on Orkney for this project. Matured for over 10 years in ex-bourbon casks at the Arran distillery before being bottled 2014 at cask strength, 56.2% vol.
