The Famous Grouse “A Toast to Burns at Scotland’s Oldest Distillery” – Scotch Whisky News

Join The Famous Grouse Experience this January to celebrate Burns Day with our weekend of free activities.
A TOAST TO BURNS ON JANUARY 25TH AND 26TH
Our weekend of Burns activities will be compered by Stuart Cassells, founder of the world renowned Red Hot Chilli Pipers, who will be thrilling guests with his own rendition of Address to a Haggis.
The weekend celebrations will also see Jack Badcock, this year’s finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year take up residence in the Glenturret Café to sing the songs of Burns. And Robert Burns himself – in the form of leading actor Christopher Tait – will be talking about his life and performing iconic poem Tam o’ Shanter.
Visitors will also have the chance to sample some of our finest whisky in a free whisky tasting and blending session running on both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Visitors are free to drop-in to this session throughout the afternoon.

ENJOY TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH FARE
Throughout the weekend The Glenturret Café will be serving traditional fare including haggis, neeps and tatties which you can enjoy with a Whisky Tasting Tray from our well-stocked bar.
There will also be a range of exclusive offers available in our gift shop including a limited edition Rabbie Burns 50cl, a 37 year old blended malt whisky, exclusively created to mark the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns’ birth.
