Jolly Toper’s whisky tastings normally take place on Thursday nights from 7:30pm until approximately 10pm at The Kilderkin 65/67 Canongate, Royal Mile, Edinburgh, (they do a mean pizza). For more details on the tastings themselves please click here

P/O/U/R/S = Peaty, Old, Unusual, Rare and Sherry cask matured. Recently many people have requested the exact nature of the line up at the ‘pours’ tastings remain secret so a proper ‘blind’ tasting can be held. However I understand some attendees would be more comfortable knowing which drams were to be tasted before committing to attending. We are pleased to have Mr. Jan Beckers, Douglas Laing’s Global Ambassador presenting 6 whiskies from their “Old Particular” line of independent bottlings of Rare Single Barrel Scottish Whiskies.

We will be sampling 6 whiskies and our talented kitchen team will once again be pairing 5 of them with 5 stunning dishes. This evening’s whiskies are from 6 different distilleries from across Scotland including a 35 year old from one of Glasgow’s closed distilleries.
