Distilled at Tomatin Distillery in the Scottish Highlands in 2001, we selected this 12 year old expression because it was matured in a fresh sherry hogshead cask. The result is a sweet and full bodied malt brimmed with toffee overtones. Tomatin distillery is situated just south of Inverness and close to the Cairngorms National Park in Scotland’s Highland whisky region. Sitting at an altitude of 315m in the Monadhliath Mountains it is the third highest working distillery in Scotland.
