This Limited Edition release of The Arran Malt at 16 Years Old has been produced from un-peated malted barley and matured in a combination of the finest ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. The whisky has not been artificially colored and has not been chill-filtered at bottling thus retaining the full range of aromas and flavors which typify this unique Island Single Malt. Only 9,000 bottles of The Arran Malt 16 Years Old have been released worldwide.

Tasting notes:

Color: Golden Syrup.

Aroma: Rich, lush honey with hints of ginger and dark chocolate.

Palate: Glides over the tongue in a glorious wave of sweetness & spice, Crème Brule at first followed by bitter orange and charred oak.

Finish: Long & lingering – Arran is showing its decadent side at sweet sixteen.
