Celebrate Repeal Day With Pre-Prohibition Cocktails! – American Whiskey News

Pre-Prohibition cocktails to celebrate Repeal Day on Dec. 5th – the anniversary of the passing of the 18th Amendment and end to Prohibition back in 1933!

Repeal Day

On Dec. 5, 1933, America passed the 18th Amendment and ended Prohibition, which outlawed alcohol from 1920 to 1933 known as Repeal Day. Without Prohibition’s repeal, America’s native spirit, bourbon, would have disappeared into history. To celebrate this national heritage, here are two classic bourbon recipes courtesy of Maker’s Mark®, America’s handcrafted bourbon. Cheers!
