Springbank Rundlets & Kilderkins

Rundlets & Kilderkins is the latest release from Springbank distillery, and wow they have released a stunner. Distilled in 2001 & bottled in 2012 after maturing in Rundlet & Kilderkin barrels which are smaller 60 & 80 litres casks. With this process the spirit has a lot more contact with the wood resutling in some very rich, complex flavours and also gives the impression of being older than it’s ten years. A must try for 2012, limited to 9,000 bottles.
