The end is near!

First of all, a big thank you to everyone!

The Aberdeen Whisky Festival 2012 was a huge success, attracting over 300 people, and raising £1,000 for Childreach International! Thanks to this, a yearly festival celebrating the “Water of Life” in Aberdeen is now a reality, and we promise to be back, bigger and better next year. You can still take part in the celebration, by getting a bottle of Aberdeen Whisky Festival 2012 Whisky. This is an exclusive, limited bottling, offered by Single Malts Direct. It is a 14yo Mortlach, bottled at cask strenght. A real bargain at £50! They ship worldwide as well, so everyone can enjoy it!

Jura Tasting!
Tickets for sale at the Societies Reception in Butchart (ask for Laura, from 10am to 2pm)
Wednesday 2nd May 7pm @ Butchart Centre:

Prices are £5 for members, £6 for non-members.
This will be another great tasting, conducted by the distillery manager himself!
This distillery tasting will be limited to 50 people, so act fast!

Please note, to attend this event, please register at www.isleofjura.com and become a Diurach. Bring along a copy of your certificate to the tasting.

Are you interested in joining one of the most fun committees on campus next year? Do you want to take part in organising some of the best events? You can be on the committee next year, and take the Society to a new dimension! It looks amazing on your CV!! If you feel you have what it takes, get in touch, the usual positions will be open (President, Secretary, Treasurer, H&S Officer) and more can be created! In order for the Society to continue as strongly as it has been these past few years, we need all the help we can get! Even if you are not sure about what you can do, please come along, it will be a good laugh!
