Abhainn Dearg Distillery was established in 2008 by Mark Tayburn. A Scottish Islands distillery situated at Carnish near Uig in the Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides.

The first single malt Scotch from the distillery was launched on 14th October 2011. Matured in ex-bourbon oak, this historic first bottling is limited to just 2,011 bottles each bottled by hand at the distillery. Now available to order from The Whisky Barrel online whisky shop.
