Mitchells Green Spot Irish Whiskey

We are delighted to offer two limited editions of single pot still Mitchells Green Spot. Green Spot was originally produced exclusively for the Mitchell family in Dublin in the 1800s, these two editions were bottled to celebrate the great whiskey’s 200th anniversary.

Green Spot is distilled at Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork by Master Distiller Barry Crockett. The casks were then selected for bottling by Billy Leighton, Chief Blender at Irish Distillers.

Mitchells Green Spot 10 Year Old

Distilled in 1993, then filled in to American oak barrels and left to mature for ten years. Just three casks of whiskey were selected for this special bottling of Green Spot. Only 1,000 bottles ever made. £250

Mitchells Green Spot 12 Year Old

Distilled in 1991 then filled into an American oak barrel for 12 years maturation. This single cask was bottled at cask strength of 58% abv. Only 200 bottles ever made. £850

Each whiskey is presented in a handmade wooden case, with a signed certificate.
