Finally, the weather is going our way!!  We’re starting to see more people out on the Katy Trail (and just walking around town for that matter), and it’s just beautiful around here.  A couple of quick things….
 
Single Malt Scotch Tasting & Seminar
 
Experience some of Scotland’s finest single malt Scotch whiskies at  our upcoming tasting and seminar!  Lohr-Gateway Wines & Spirits out of  St. Louis will be at the hotel April 8, pouring samples of eight  amazing Scotches and lecturing on the finer points of history and  production.  Drop by just for the session, or make a full-on event of it and  stay the night.  In addition to staying in luxury at the Fred,  overnight guests receive a $15 discount on the cost of the tasting.
 
We will be sampling, in the following order:

2.  Chieftain’s 1999 Glendullan, Speyside 11 yr
3.  Chieftain’s 1992 Ardmore, Speyside 18 yr

Cost (tasting and lecture): $25.00 per person, or $10.00 per person with hotel reservation.  Admission includes $10 off the purchase of one bottle (minimum $50).
