Ledaig 10yo OB 46.3%alc. [NEW STYLE]

(LFW Comments) Half of the whisky made at Tobermory Distillery is heavily peated and sold as “Ledaig Single Malt”. This new-style 10yo is bottled at 46% and free of flavour filtration.

An aroma of peat and must, a suggestion (to me) of smouldering railway sleepers, primarily pure peatiness. The flavour continues the mostly peaty character with some sea-lemon (whatever that is). A warm and dry finish where the Tomermory signature note of cloves pushes through.
