Raconteur, entertainer, bon viveur and whisky guru, Richard “The Nose” Paterson is one of the whisky industry’s great characters.  A master blender at just 26, there is little that Richard doesn’t know about whisky.   Anyone who has attended one of Richard’s tastings knows that they are well worth the price of entry for their entertainment value alone.

For many years, Fettercairn has played a secondary role to the two blue chip distilleries in the Whyte & Mackay portfolio, Dalmore and Jura.  However, investment from Whyte & Mackay’s Indian owners has elevated the status of Fettercairn, reflected in these three new limited release bottlings.

FETTERCAIRN 24 Year Old, 44.4% ABV
Just 6,000 bottles of this 24 year old whisky are to be released.  Matured in American white oak casks, it is elegant and fruity, with characters of apple and pear, overlaid by caramel and brioche.
