A great value, well matured whisky flavoured whisky.

More specifically there is a citric, chocolate, solvent aroma that with water gives more lemon, some pineapple cubes and a grassy, fruity zest. On the tongue it is generally quiet and understated, ginger-whisky like with a warming prickle and a butter-oily finish.

Interesting as there is not too much wood contribution – despite its 21years occupancy.
