The Vancouver International Writers Festival presents the eighth annual

A Dram Come True

Single Malt Scotch Whisky Sampling

Enjoy the superb, complex flavours of a variety of rare and distinguished single malts. Rare malts and other select items will be available at auction. Scotch experts will be on hand to enhance the experience.

One such rare scotch available in the silent auction is a bottle of Members’s Legacy Caperdonich 1967, a dram regarded as one of the most extraordinary batches of malt of all time. It rates 96 points in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible. Own this extra special treasure that you can’t buy off the shelf.

And, to wet your palate, here’s a sampler of the 18 scotches that will available for tasting: from Tullibardine Distillery’s vintage casks, both a Tullibardine 1993 Sauterne Cask and a Tullibardine 1988 will be featured, along with a Speyside Mortlach 1990 Sherry Cask, and from Islay a Laphroaig 1999.
