1st March 2010

Dear Customer,

We have three (3) new PROVENANCE bottlings this month, which we hope will be attractive to you.

The PROVENANCE Tasting Notes follow:

PRV 0609 Dailuaine 10 Year Old Sherry
Initially toffee’d on the nose it has an attractively spicy character and carries to a soft leather style plus some barley sugar. The palate is mouthcoatingly rich and carries to a spicy, dried fruit style with dark muscovado sugar. The finish is long , still spicy and sweet plus more leather. (J)

PRV 0601 Benriach 11 Year Old

Opens sweetly on the nose with pear drops, caramelized banana and peaches in syrup. Still sweet on the palate, now more spicy with almonds and coconut combined with macerated dried fruit. The finish is medium long, fresh and replicates the palate’s spicy sweet character. (J)

PRV 0603 Ardmore 12 Year Old

The nose is interestingly round & sweet, reminiscent of cookie dough. The palate is more powerful with a rich chewy and smokey character, carrying to dry ashes and sweet liquorice. The finish is long and replicates the palate with a tarry, ashy quality running to spicy smoke. (J)

We anticipate within the next few weeks that all PROVENANCE bottlings will be in the new livery and we believe that these whiskies have now become even more appealing. We look forward in seeing you soon on one of the festivals we are attending and send you our best regards.

Yours faithfully
Fred Laing
