Dear whisky friends

It’s almost maltstock time. Less than two weeks until the very first edition. We just wanted top update you in the latest news. This will be the last newsletter for this first Maltstock edition. For all of you who unfortunately can not make it this year, we hope to see you next year!

Free tastings

As mentioned in our previous newsletter we have several very nice free tastings at Maltstock. But booking is required. Pease go to www.maltstock.com now and reserve your seat at one or more of the free tastings. The Jim McEwan tasting is already fully booked.

Detox walk

We have also added a new whisky experience: the Detox Walk. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Maltstock location with an experienced guide. This whisky experience will be unique, because it will not involve any whisky. Get detoxated for another full day of whisky pleasure at Maltstock. The walk will be right after breakfast on Saturday morning and will last for about an hour. The Detox Walk is also for free. But we do ask you to make a booking in advance. Just go to the website and look under “free tastings”.

Maltstock T-shirt

A lot of people have asked if they could buy a Maltstock t-shirt. Well now you can! Just click on the t-shirt on the Maltstock website and order your “I was there” t-shirt. They will have to be ordered before August 31st in order to be ready for Maltstock. They will cost you just € 15,- euro’s

Sample Share

One of the guests at Maltstock is Christof. He recently started a big sample share website. www.gedeeldevreugde.be (for the non-Dutch speakers “shared enjoyment”). If anyone would like to order a sample simply contact Christof through his website and he can bring the samples for you to Maltstock.

Also Nils from Kings Court Whisky Society is selling part of his whisky collection. Enclosed is the list. If anybody is interested please contact Nils at nreinaerts@gmail.com and he can bring the bottle(s) to Maltstock.
