Douglas Laing Unveils Online Exclusive Timorous Beastie Winter Edition

Douglas Laing & Co., award-winning family-run Scotch Whisky firm, will launch Timorous Beastie 16 Years Old Winter Edition exclusively on DouglasLaing.com on Monday 4th November 2019.

A Limited Edition batch of only 400 bottles, this unique Highland Malt Scotch Whisky spent 16 long years maturing exclusively in a Spanish Sherry butt. Offered at 45.1% alcohol strength and proudly without colouring or chill-filtration, the tasting notes for this unique release include Christmas cake, blood oranges and ginger.

The clear bottle showcases the naturally dark and decadent spirit inside, with a festive-themed and foiled label. Each bottle is presented in a canvas, printed bag, rendering Timorous Beastie Winter Edition the perfect Christmas gift!

Tasting Notes:

The nose reveals cocoa and orange zest with a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate brings raisins, chocolate, Christmas cake and sweet stewed fruits. The finish lingers with blood oranges and crystallised ginger.
