RICH AND RARE RESERVE AWARDED “BEST SIPPIN’ WHISKY” AT THE 2019 CANADIAN WHISKY AWARDS 

Sazerac Whiskies Take Home Gold and Bronze Medals 

Montreal, Canada (March 13, 2019) – During the ninth annual Canadian Whisky Awards, multiple Sazerac Canadian whiskies were awarded Gold and Bronze, with Rich and Rare Reserve Canadian Whisky labeled “Best Sippin’ Whisky.”

            Gold Medal Winners:

  • Caribou Crossing Single Barrel Canadian Whisky
  • Rich & Rare Reserve Canadian Whisky

Bronze Medal Winners:

  • High River Canadian Whisky
  • Royal Canadian Small Batch Canadian Whisky

The 2019 Canadian Whisky Awards consisted of a blind tasting of over 100 whiskies by a panel of experts at the Victoria Whisky Festival. The competition only evaluated whiskies that were both distilled and matured within Canada in hopes of recognizing and maintaining the highest quality expectations among Canadian whiskies.
